Paper Roses is a painting I did some time ago. It was also featured in one of my previous year's Flower Calendars. I named it Paper Roses because the blooms reminded me of the crepe paper roses you see in Mexico for sale at the souvenir stands. A lot of pink undertones in this painting along with cobalt blue and another favorite of mine, cobalt violet. The second photo shows detail from the upper left of this watercolor painting.
