A brushy little painting with a different color background than usual. Not sure I like the lack of contrast between the bouquet and the background, but.... it is a change of pace. I usually try to key the background to the main color of the center of interest, but have seen some very effective paintings lately with very low-key analogous backgrounds that I like too. You can imagine this painting with a dark background too, but I don't think it would have looked as sunny at that point. Second photo shows center detail of this sunny little canvas.
