Patio Narcissus

Patio Narcissus
10x10 Acrylic on 1.5" Gallery Wrap Canvas
SOLD
Patio Narcissus sold yesterday during my Easter weekend painting demo at The Greenbrier Hotel and Resort. I painted for the guests Friday, Saturday and Sunday and really enjoyed my time there. It is such a beautiful hotel and there were lots of families there for the holiday weekend. Kids especially like my cat cards and we always have big conversations about their cats, the cat's names and different cat adventures. Kids love to talk about painting too, and I find very few who do not consider themselves real artists! Patio Narcissus was bought, along with two other small paintings, by a gentlemen who thought his mother would really enjoy it, since she was an avid gardener herself. White petalled flowers are especially enjoyable to paint - you can really make some beautiful shades and shadows from the cobalts, pinks, yellows and purples on your palette. The second and third photos show detail from the upper left and mid section of this springy painting. Your comments are always welcome.
