Just returned from Festivall in Charleston, WV last weekend and later the Mountain State Arts & Crafts Festival in Ripley, WV this past weekend where this little tulip painting was sold. Had a great time - nearly melting everyday - and sold lots of art to a lot of great people. The red tulip painting here was painted at The Greenbrier Hotel several months ago. In the spring The Greenbrier has a spectacular display of tulips everywhere on their grounds. And inside, every table seems to have a different color pot or bouquet of tulips on it. I grabbed a pot of red tulips and painted them straight away! The second photo shows detail of this red bunch. Your comments are always welcome.
