Here is another "all the colors on my palette" floral that I recently completed while painting at The Greenbrier Hotel for the guests. I especially enjoyed the red poppies where I used both cad red and cad orange, alizarin crimson, several pinks, permanent magenta and even naples yellow.
Winsor Newton acrylics are mostly transparent and really make for some beautiful layering effects, especially with the darker blues and purples. I always recommend WN supplies in all my painting conversations! The second and third photo show detail from upper left and upper right of this lively bunch. Your comments are always welcome.
