Back to painting my favorite subject of cats in preparation for my upcoming 2013 Cat Calendar. Publication date to be announced. Here is a white lynx point who would be perfect for January - since he comes with such a great new year's resolution that only a mouse could appreciate! I used Azo Red in the background - along with various pinks and lavenders. Azo Red is such a perfect lipstick red and makes a beautiful rouge red when mixed with either a warm pink or transparent orange. His eyes are cobalt and brilliant purple. Second and third photos show brushwork detail and the mousey friend up close and personal. Your comments are always welcome.
