More pink cosmos - a delight to paint - this time in watercolor. I started this painting with cobalt violet and blue, continued to glaze in permanent rose, cad yellow and orange, purple, cobalt blue and finally in quin red and alizarin crimson. This painting looks especially pretty matted in its ivory mat. The pinks really glow in this painting and the cad yellow and orange centers really pop. Second photo shows the pink petal detail from some of the upper most flowers. Your comments are always welcome.
