Orange Marmalade

Orange Marmalade
14x14 Acrylic on 1.5" gallery Wrap Canvas
Sold to a Collector from Florida
This colorful orange tiger is one of the demo paintings I did this past weekend while demonstrating at Tamarack for the many traveling guests who passed by my display. Everyone was either busy buying gifts or refueling at The Greenbrier Grille, busily on their way to Grandma's for Thanksgiving. This big, sweet ginger cat is underpainted with bright cad orange and features fur made up of Naples yellow, cad yellow, Quin rose, cad red and crimson. The background is varying mixtures of Prussian Blue with cobalt, rose, white and more Naples. Second and third photos show this yellow's gentle face and colorful coat. Email me at catcards@frontiernet.net for purchase or more information. This painting may also be bought on www.dailypaintworks.com - just click the link.

Pamela, I LOVE this one. It reminds me of my kitty cat, California. Here is a picture of her: http://www.facebook.com/kimberlydlester/photos_stream#!/photo.php?fbid=10150741167800692&set=pb.569985691.-2207520000.1353473550&type=3&theater

Will you be putting this one on cards? I would love some!
