Rooster Royale is a square format painting that would look great in the kitchen. The brushwork is bold and colors are deep. I used a lot of Prussian Blue in his feathers and mixed some rich siennas and ochres from my Cad Red and Prussian Blue. He is against a periwinkle/lavender barnyard sky making his way through the tall dark blue greenery. The sides of this gallery wrap are painted a deep gold to complement the warmth of the painting.
