I had a lovely time with all my pink paints as I painted Poppy Talk. Very graphic and bright, this painting would certainly be the attention getter in a room. Along with my standard palette I used quin rose, quin rose deep, quin magenta, permanent rose, alizarin crimson, and quin violet. The blues are various mixtures of mineral blue and/or Prussian blue, cad yellow, cobalt blue, Naples yellow with some occasional manganese blue.
