Mufasa (named after the Lion King character) is a fluffy Maine Coon with beautiful green eyes. I painted his portrait for my friend Becky as a gift. It was a spontaneous Saturday afternoon painting that I really enjoyed doing. Maine Coons are my favorite cat to paint with their big round eyes and classic tabby markings. I used my standard palette with the addition of a warm pink and a warm grey. I usually don't use tube greys, but this one was too perfect to pass up. Your comments are always welcome.

when we were at the greenbriar admiring your work, becky told us you might honor us by painting my old best buddy stella who is my little blind, diabetic, old, and loving mini-dachsund. we love you work and bought some dog card and scarfs for our friend. tim and mary gatens, granville, ohio (i think i am related to your husband).
