Blue Topaz is a lovely Maine Coon whose coat is made up of Winsor Newton Manganese Blue, Permanent Rose and Burnt Sienna. Transparent yellow was used in combination with the Manganese Blue and Sienna for his eyes and carpet of grass. Manganese Blue is slightly granulating and slightly opaque, so needs to be thinned considerably for a nice light valued wash. Cad orange is another opaque color that I like to use with lots of water and a light touch for sunny highlights, adding warmth or for light backgrounds. Your cat comments are always welcome.
