Roses lend themselves to beautiful brushwork - and I hope I did just that in this painting. My regular palette also included Quin. Red and Quin. Rose this time. The underpainting is Cad. Orange as usual. The vase is mostly Thalo blue with some cobalt added in some strokes. An impulsive, quick painting that I really enjoyed doing. Your comments are always welcome.
