I have long been interested in painting faces. Not to paint anyone I particularly know, but better yet, a stranger with a curious look on their face or a person of peculiar beauty. While I try to get the planes of their face just right, I meditate on them and imagine what they are like, where they might live and what they do during the day. Makes the painting very personal for me - and it's fun! Here is a young girl and detail of her face in the second photo. Your comments are always welcome.
