Starting as an abstract, I gradually "found" all the colorful blooms and defined them. A great exercise in composition and color selection "on the fly". Your comments are always welcome.
This little cream coon was painted with my regular palette, heavy on the Naples Yellow and Burnt Sienna. The purple was made from Quin Rose and Diox Purple with some Mineral Blue added. The Maine Coon breed is my all-time favorite cat to paint, with their round eyes and fluffy chins! This little guy was a quick Sunday painting I completed yesterday - now back to the florals and quit catting around! Your comments are always welcome.
