White Roses is another exercise in white petalled flowers. To get nice transparency in some of the outer petals, I just used more medium with my faintly tinted titanium white acrylic paint. I'll be taking this little painting with me to The Greenbrier this weekend for my painting demo and sale during the Mother's Day celebration they have there each year. I have a feeling somebody's mother will be getting these white roses this weekend for her Mother's Day gift. Second photo shows detail from the lower left of this rosey painting.
