Prairie Rooster was another occasion to use every color on my palette! I really enjoyed using all the Cad Red, Orange and Yellow, and think he would look great in any kitchen. Acrylic paintings are great for the kitchen and bath area because they resist moisture and are easily wiped clean with a damp rag. This handsome fellow has a lot of impasto brushwork on his feathers and tail. He's a real ladies' man! Detail of some of that brushwork on second photo. Your comments are always welcome.
