A large floral a bit out of the ordinary for me - close focus with more detail than usual. My usual palette was used - with the usual orange underpainting. Quin Red, along with the Quin Roses were used liberally in the petals along with Light Blue Permanent from Liquitex in some of the background light. Could a close-focus poppy be too far in the future? Your comments are always welcome.
